With a desire to provide quality products and services for the pets and families of the Williamsburg and Greenpoint, Brooklyn areas, Audra Gullo founded Tails of New York. She believes in positive reinforcement training methods and has dedicated herself to providing compassionate care for animals.
Audra became a certified dog walker upon completing an intensive program at DogTec, a well respected training school which services students throughout the country. As a certified dog walker she is educated in the areas of canine body language, animal behavior, safety and fight protocol, pack composition and management, and basic training commands. She is also certified by The Red Cross™ in pet first aid. As a vegetarian for over 20 years, Audra believes all animals should be treated with kindness, compassion and respect. An animal lover since she was a young girl, she knew from a very young age that she was meant to work with them. After spending years in the corporate world she finally decided it was time to pursue her passion and make her childhood dream a reality. In addition to dedicating her time to care for animals, Audra shares her love of photography with the pets and families she encounters, specializing in portraits that capture each animal’s unique personality. She has had dogs and cats throughout her life and is currently the proud pet parent of 4 amazing rescue cats: Phantom, Lucky, Bisbee and Amelia.
